Hey guys! I got some news on the planned changes for Battlefield 1! So DICE's Root Initiative for Battlefield 1 has some great game-play changes planned! The reason is that they just really want to "revamp" their title's overall feel/tone. They have posted up a compiled list of "Soldier & Vehicle Movement Changes". This mean's they want to enhance the game-play. So fare they are working on weapon use improvement for a few guns, vehicle movement and control changes, and also the environmental particles and effects.
All of the changes are going to be tested on Battlefield 1's Community Test Environment before anything. The next planned test is most likely going to address "Suppression & Destruction Mechanics". The vehicle movement changes in the game include a new interface and feel when in the third -person mode. The is in hope of better control and stability.
For the weapon mechanics, the major changes involved were meant to improve with the aim assist for console users. Overall there was a slight tone down for it. Specifically it addressed toning down when it snaps to target on few weapons such as snipers and slug shotguns. The overall goal with these adjustments was to give a greater precision when firing.
For environmental fixes, they worked on the muzzle smoke. They have reduced the muzzle smoke that is visible when firing some weapons. This makes it easier to track movement with better clarity. That's all we have for today, I hope you enjoyed and make sure to drop a comment below if you want more information and I will see you next time! Stay #PikaPerfect!
