Warning for all readers: you have entered geek territory! Yes, I will be discussing The Flash from a geek's level for the fans out there! Not just anything about The Flash though... Season 4 of The Flash! I don't usually do TV Reviews or anything because I'm not too much of a TV geek. I do watch The Flash however and I have decided to make a post on the upcoming season on October 10th! If you want to see more of these posts or not leave a comment and I'll fine tune to your liking!
Anyways, today we are covering what happened at the end of Season 3 and what will happen in Season 4. Of course there won't be any big spoilers so we won't ruin the show for fans. At the end of Season 3, Savitar was finally defeated by Barry and trapped in the speed force once again. If you remember with Wally in the speed force, one must sacrifice themselves and suffer after summoning another from the speed force. With this rule applying, Barry takes this place to release Jay Garrick and trap Savitar.
Once he is sent into the speed force, he will suffer a tragedy that happened in his life endlessly in a loop until set free. After basking in the speed force, Barry Allen also The Flash will change significantly. Barry will indeed return in Season 4 somehow with the help of Team Flash. His return is said to affect Wally somehow as he was training while Barry was gone. This however is not the only thing that changes when he returns.
Once Barry returns his suit will also be altered as it would seem fit so after being in the speed force so long. The suit will not be changed in favor of the show however. At the Comic-Con interview with the cast of The Flash Grant Gustin was interviewed and felt that it was necessary to change the suit and was also popular by demand of fans. The executive producer was put in a difficult situation up stage and forced to accept this decision.
A lot of people are wondering if the Kid Flash will take the Flash's color of suit in the new season which is unfortunately unconfirmed but unlikely. It indeed would be cool to see him as he is displayed in some comics but I am not sure.
