Intro to BTS

Hey guys, I'm back! I havent posted in a long time but I'm back to post about a South Korean boy band that has been rising in popularity here in the United states called BTS (Bangtan boys). I'm here to make sure that when your friends talk about them you're not left out of the conversation.
Dope - BTS

 "Hello, new to Bangtan?" says BTS' leader, RM, preparing you for the song. Each of the members have different personas in this mv and it's overall a really encouraging song.

Not Today - BTS

An upbeat and fast paced MV, this song really makes you want to push forward and make your dreams happen.

 Now I will introduce the members to give you guys an idea of the group. I'll introduce them in the order of their fanchant (leader, then oldest to youngest):

RM (currently stands for Real Me):

• RM is one of the rappers of the group
• RM' s real name is Kim Namjoon
• Fourth youngest of the group and youngest of the hyung line (older end of group)
• RM is the leader of the group. He was noticed by big hit and that's where the band started. If this never happened, we may have never had BTS!! 
• Namjoon  has an IQ of 148. He's crazy smart and very philosophical (only most of the time). RM also speaks English and writes most of BTS' songs.

Jin (Worldwide Handsome, Car door guy, whichever):

• Jin is one of the vocals of the group (his voice is a bit deeper than Jungkook's, but higher than V's idk how to describe this type of beauty)
• Jin's real name is Kim Seokjin
• Jin is the oldest of the group (1992) but don't get me wrong, he's just as good looking as them all (hence the Worldwide Handsome nickname)!
• He loves pink!!!!

Suga (Agust D in the flesh):

• Suga is a rapper of the group 
• Suga's real name is Min Yoongi 
• Suga is the second oldest in the group.
• Yoongi has also written songs and released a mixtape + directed MVs (the talent).
• He likes to sleep but okay who doesn't....

J-Hope (He's your hope):

• J-Hope is a rapper and he's also lead dancer
• J-Hope's real name is Jung Hoseok 
• Older than RM by just a few months but younger than Suga just to give some perspective
• Hoseok is a bit fearful of some things but still goes through with many challenges and games.
• J-Hooooooooope 

Jimin (trust me, he's got jams):

• Jimin is a vocal of the group (he has the highest voice but it's strong) and is a part of the dance line
• Fifth youngest and oldest of the maknae line (younger end of the group) and in 95 line with V
• Jimin's real name is Park Jimin
• He's always there to boost the members' confidence when they're feeling down 

V (Gucci prince):

• V is a vocal of the group and he has the lowest voice (it's so deep and beautiful like you can't miss it)
• V's real name is Kim Taehyung 
• Sixth youngest and in maknae line (95 liner with Jimin)
• He likes to make silly faces and is isn't chained down by his being a visual + he has a cute noticeably square shaped smile 
• Can make friends with practically anybody or anything

Jungkook (Golden Maknae)

• Jungkook is lead vocal (his voice is right in that middle range, plus he sings most of the choruses) and part of the dance line
• Jungkook's real name is Jeon Jungkook
• Jungkook is the youngest of the group, and he's a part of the maknae line, but because he's the youngest Jungkook is just "the" maknae. He's the golden maknae because Jungkook is good at practically everything.

Of course there's so much more to these amazing people, and I could talk about them allll day, but.... it won't fit. I hope this gives you a little information about the members so you can possibly identify them on stage or in an interview (whatever you do, don't memorize them by their hair color because they change it a lot). But trust me, as you learn more about them it gets easier. Every fan starts somewhere. Watch out for my next post!!
